해바라기의 비명

나의 무덤 앞에는 그 차가운 碑ㅅ돌을 세우지 말라.
나의 무덤 주위에는 그 노오란 해바라기를 심어 달라.
그리고 해바라기의 긴 줄거리 사이로 끝없는 보리밭을 보여 달라.
노오란 해바라기는 늘 太陽같이 太陽같이 하던 華麗한
나의 사랑이라고 생각하라.
푸른 보리밭 사이로 하늘을 쏘는 노고지리가 있거든
아직도 날아오르는 나의 꿈이라고 생각하라.
An epitaph of the sunflower

Trans. Lee jong woo
Please don't erect a gravestone before my tomb.
Do plant the yellow sunflower around my tomb.
And by a space of the long stem of sunflower
please let me see the endless barley fields.
Yellow sunflower always do as sun as sun
do think as my brilliant loves.
By a space of green barley fields
if the skylark firing the sky is
do think as my dream as yet flying.
